It’s time to let the blog go. I’ve needed to do a major re-work of it for a few years, and while I’ve tried a few times, I don’t have the time to really dig in and do it properly.
I also feel that I don’t have anything new to say (about boating and nature and wild places). We are still actively cruising, and we still love every second of it. While I’m not a big fan of “social media,” I’ve found that Instagram is a great way for me to share a photo or two or three, or a short video clip, and it doesn’t take much time. You can find me there as: @robinadventuresphotography.
I still spend a lot of time making photographs, and then sorting (deleting!) and editing the few that either tell a story or show something I think is beautiful or interesting. I’m a life-long learner, and I’d rather spend time doing crafts and improving my craft(s) – photographing, editing, and knitting. Trying to learn the acoustic guitar (which is a glacial process!).
The blog won’t go away just yet – I have until the end of the calendar year before hosting prices go up and I’ll need to shut things down. I need to find a way to archive all the content. But I don’t want people to think that something happened to us – all is well, and Adventures (in every sense) continue! Here are a few recent photos to say goodbye and thanks for reading.

I completely understand but I will miss reading your blog, it always brought back memories of our 3 trips up there! Maybe I will try out instagram which is foreign to me! I’m glad you’re not giving up cruising, hopefully you’re both doing well! Here’s to many more years of adventures for the 2 of you!
I know how hard it is to keep up with a time intensive blog, have fun on instagram, hopefully easier.
